Tim Quarterman has been improving, and going into his senior year, he will have a tough decision to make as schools vamp up their recruitment of the swingman from Georgia.
Quarterman had a hand full of offers going into the AAU season, but now the 6-foot-5 Quarterman claims interest from South Carolina, George Mason, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami, Florida, Wake Forest, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Massachusetts.
Quarterman doesn't have any visits lined up, but he is talking about visiting South Carolina, which offered him a scholarship last month.
"It's been going good," Quarterman said of his recruitment with South Carolina. "Me and Frank Martin have good conversations about me coming to the school and his coaching."
As for now, Quarterman is taking his time and just finishing out the summer strong with his AAU team the Atlanta Celtics.
"I'm wide open," Quarterman told Gamecock Anthem over the weekend at the Adidas Invitational. "I'm just trying to see which schools I really like so that I can visit in August."
Quarterman then wants to use that downtown before his high school season starts to choose a college destination.
"I want to (commit) before my senior year when basketball starts," he said, "so about that time is when I want to commit."
