Caleb Kinlaw's stock is growing and so is his list of offers. The speedy Goose Creek (S.C.) High running back talks about his junior season and reveals the school who is peaking his interest.
Kinlaw has received letters of interest from school across the country and offers from Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Clemson, and Georgia Tech.
"I would probably say Tennessee is slightly ahead right now, but they are all pretty even," said Kinlaw.
The three-star running back took a visit to Tennessee for the Florida game and said he was really impressed.
"I really liked the environment. My running back coach, Coach Graham, he kind of attracted me up there," he said.
Jay Graham is the running backs coach at South Carolina and a former running back for the Volunteers.
Kinlaw said Graham is also recruiting him to play for the Gamecocks.
"If I don't make it to a game this season, I'll take a trip to South Carolina in the spring," he said.
Kinlaw said he is planning to take more visits in the near future.
"I am planning on taking a visit to North Carolina this weekend," he said.
Kinlaw is a quick running back, he runs the 40-yard dash in 4.40 seconds. He said his speed is his best asset and makes him harder to stop.
"It helps a lot, I am able to see the holes and as soon as I see them I am able to get through them quickly. The faster I hit the hole, I don't get hit as hard because I am fast," he said.
Kinlaw admitted the recruiting process can be exhausting but said for now, his main focus is on the Goose Creek Gators and the state playoffs.
"My main goal for my team is to get back to the state championship," said Kinlaw.
The Gators are 12-0 and take on Bluffton this Friday in the second round of the state playoffs.
NOTE: At the time of the interview, Goose Creek was still involved in the 2012 South Carolina football playoffs. They were disqualified on Tuesday, November 13 for the use of an ineligible player. School officials plan to dispute the ruling on Wednesday, November 14.
