South Carolina has extended the contract of head football coach Steve Spurrier by two years.
The university's board of trustees approved the contract extension Monday.
Spurrier is now signed through 2017, following a second-straight 10 win regular season with the Gamecocks.
He did not receive a pay raise as part of the extension.
Spurrier became South Carolina's all-time winningest coach with his 65th win when the Gamecocks defeated Clemson on Nov. 24.
South Carolina will face Michigan in the Outback Bowl on Jan. 1, 2013 in Tampa, Fla.
