According to reports, South Carolina defensive line coach Brad Lawing is leaving the Gamecocks to join the Florida Gators coaching staff.
He reportedly was in Gainesville Sunday to meet with Florida head coach Will Muschamp.
Lawing just finished his seventh year of his second stint and his 17th year overall in Columbia.
He joined Steve Spurrier's staff in the spring of 2006.
Lawing was also part of South Carolina's coaching staff from 1989 to 1998.
Reports say Lawing is leaving due to non-football related personal issues.
