2016 cornerback Khalil Ladler from Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia performed well says Chad Simmons. It is still very early, but the Gamecocks are in the mix for the undersized but talented corner.

A.J. Turner, a Scout 4 Star running back from Centreville High School in Clifton, VA, has a top five, and the Gamecocks made the cut according to Scout's Micheal Clark.

Scout 4 Star OLB Jeff Holland from Trinity Christian in Jacksonville, Florida is more than likely headed for Auburn, according to our friends at Inside the Auburn Tigers, but they'll have to fight off Michigan and Notre Dame. Although the Gamecocks have not been eliminated, they don't seem to be in the hunt for Holland.
