101 with South Carolina Commit Austin Clark

Check out our interview with offensive tackle three-star commit Austin Clark.

It only took two visits for Gamecock commit Austin Clark to realize South Carolina was the one.

"Talking with other guys who have gone through the process, or who are going through it, they all seem to say the same thing," noted Clark, "Once you get on the campus you pretty much know that it's the right fit for you and that's how it was with South Carolina."

The offensive tackle says his recruiting experience was awesome. "I've taken quite a few visits to different schools," stated Clark.

"The best part of it was getting to experience just the college football tradition at all these schools. From Neyland Stadium down to ‘Between the Hedges' in Georgia to ‘The Horseshoe' at Ohio State, just getting to experience all of this college football history is amazing."

Standing 6-foot-6 and 280 pounds, Austin Clark is the no. 32 offensive tackle in the class of 2015. He was said to be one of the top performers in April at the Charlotte Nike Football Training Camp.

Scout.com's Michael Clark reported the offensive tackle had an easy drop step that allowed for him to cut off speed rushers.

The three-star recruit says he's planning on majoring in business management, and he doesn't stop there. Clark will be graduating early this December, as well.

In the meanwhile, Clark says his goal it to win the first ever state championship for his high school.
