"The Greenville Drive and the Upstate Community are very excited and proud to be able to host this highly anticipated game at Fluor Field over the next four years," noted Drive General Manager Eric Jarinko.
Wednesday, the location was released for the 2015-2018 seasons. The 2015 season marks the sixth year of the three-game format (home-neutral-away). Four of the previous five neutral sites between Clemson and South Carolina have taken place at Fluor Field.
"We're excited about the annual neutral-site game returning to Greenville," stated Clemson Head Coach Jack Leggett.
Since playing its first game at Fluor Field in 2007, Clemson has a 16-4 record at the site. The Tigers have played at least one game at Fluor Field each of the last eight seasons.
"Our players enjoy playing games at Fluor Field and the ballpark has a great environment in the stands for this game with fans from both schools. The staff of the Greenville Drive has been great to work with over the years and we look forward to continuing that relationship."
South Carolina's head coach Chad Holbrook says its a great atmosphere for the best college baseball rivalry in the county.
"We are delighted for the opportunity to play the South Carolina-Clemson neutral-site game four more years in Greenville at Fluor Field," said Holbrook.
"We are grateful to the Drive for the commitment and pride they take in hosting the game. The players, coaches and fans enjoy the event and we look forward to a great series."
South Carolina's 9-3 record at Fluor Field dates back to 2006. The Gamecocks have played at least one contest at Fluor Field each of the last seven seasons.
The order and times of the three-game series for 2015 will be released at a later date. Last season, the Gamecocks took home the crown from the neutral site and wins from both home site match-ups. In the 2012-2013 season, Clemson took a win at the neutral Fluor Field.
