Friday afternoon was very active in the recruiting room down south.
Four prospects committed to schools and it all happened within a two hour window.
Here is a quick breakdown:
Quentez Johnson committed to North Carolina State and the 2015 defensive tackle chose the Wolfpack over Oregon and Tennessee. The Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove star is a former Miami commit, but he feels strong about this decision. Johnson spent three days in Raleigh, N.C. last month and North Carolina State has been in the lead since. Read more Wolfpack news at Pack Pride.
Stanford has half a dozen players on their roster from the state of Georgia and it now has its second 2015 commitment. Offensive guard Nick Wilson chose Stanford and he is a high three-star on Scout. He is out of Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton. Read more on Stanford at The Bootleg.
Arizona is doing some work in the state of Arizona. Scout 100 quarterback Shea Patterson is a 2016 commit and 2015 athlete Orlando Bradford committed to the Wildcats a few weeks ago. Antonio Parks, a 2015 defensive back out of Reserve (La.) East Saint John committed Friday. He is likely to play cornerback for the Wildcats. It wasn't all about 2015 on Friday, Dionte Mullins put his name on the Miami Hurricane commitment list too. He is an elite 2016 wide receiver out of Miami (Fla.) Gulliver Prep and he had over 20 scholarship offers. Mullins is the No. 20 wide receiver and No. 99 overall prospect on Scout. Get full Hurricane coverage at Canes Time.
