No. 7 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings and third in the European Amateur Ranking, Gamecock signee Nanna Madsen carded a final round of 68 (-3) to capture the Danish International Ladies Amateur Championship at the Silkeborg Ry Golfklub in Silkeborg, Denmark.
Madsen finished the weekend at 3-under par and captured the championship by a margin of four strokes with a four-round total of 281. She wrapped up the week with rounds of 71,71,71 and 68.
Madsen is scheduled to represent Denmark at the European Ladies Team Championship at G&CC Ljubljana in Solvenia next weekend. Current Gamecock Justine Dreher is slated to play for her native France, as well.
