Four-star RB Turner Picks Gamecocks

BEAVERTON, Ore. -- Four-star running back A.J. Turner of Clifton (Va.) Centreville was down to five schools, but Thursday picked South Carolina.

South Carolina won the sweepstakes for four-star cornerback A.J. Turner of Clifton (Va.) Centreville, who announced his commitment to the Gamecocks moments ago.

Turner also had Michigan State, Clemson, Ohio State and Virginia as his finalists, but the depth at South Carolina was a key factor.

He broke down his decision with Scout.com, and explained why he fit in the best with the Gamecocks.
