Total, the 6-foot-2, 222 pound junior has 707 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 150 career carries. He’s noted as a big back who likes to run between the tackles. Wilds has three 100-yard rushing games, 24 receptions for 255 yards and two scores, making five career starts.
The Bylthewood High-alum graduated in 2011 and finished out his career with 500 carries for 2,700 yards with 29 rushing scores in 33 games and came out a top high school prospect.
Wilds has certainly been impressive on the field during fall camp, and even had a mention from the Old Ball Coach himself at Sunday’s media day.
”David Williams, Shon Carson, Brandon Wilds, they look good. They’ve had excellent summers conditioning. They’re all faster than they’ve been. So they are ready, if Mike (Davis) can’t go,” head coach Steve Spurrier said.
