Davis has a Top Three

Scout three-star cornerback Carlton Davis from Miami, Fla. notes he has a top three and a couple of visits planned in the near future. But, there is more to this Miami Norland High all-star than meets the eye.

Standing 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, Carlton Davis is a top class of 2015 prospect with over 15 scholarship offers from schools around the country, like Tennessee, Louisville, Nebraska, LSU, Georgia, Kentucky, Duke, and Florida.

The Sunshine State-native noted South Carolina, Miami, and Ohio State are in the front-running for his top three, and he’s just waiting to see how each season plays out before making his final decision.

As for his senior season, Davis wants a championship for his team and to develop more as a player. But in the mean time, this prospects passion for the game goes beyond the field. Not only is the Miami-native an all-star athlete on the field, but he gives back to his community.

Davis notes he volunteers coaching kids at a park he previously used to play at growing up.

Building character is an extremely important part of moving to the next step of any passion in life. That next step for Davis seems to be pretty apparent for what he’s looking forward to most.

“The whole college experience and playing under the big lights,” Davis said.

The cornerback did mention he’s planning on making visits to each of his top schools in the near future.
