Gamecocks' Class of 2015 Ranked Second has ranked South Carolina’s 2015 recruiting class no. 2 in the nation, just behind the University of Alabama. With one 5-star, nine 4-star’s, and a total of 27 in its class, the Gamecocks are on a role to preparing for the future to make history.

With already three commits in the month of August, the Gamecocks roster is filling up fast. They now have more verbal commits than any school in the country.

It’s all about building up the future for South Carolina. Fans haven’t really had the opportunity to be as excited about football season as they have been able to the past few years.

The legendary rapport Spurrier has built up over the past 9 seasons is not something that the garnet and black want to fade away as time moves on. The Gamecocks want to continue this tradition, and building up talent within the system is certainly something that will keep the garnet-and-black on top.

Leading the past three seasons with an 11-2 record and finishing Top-10 in the polls, South Carolina has been picked to win the Eastern Division in the Southeastern Conference. The Gamecocks have high hopes of a possible SEC Championship future.

Not only does the record shine out to these prospects, but past players really set the bar for the Gamecocks. For example, no. 1 in the NFL Draft this past year, Jadeveon Clowney. Being a part of a team that can produce that kind of talent really makes a college program attractive to recruits.
