VIDEO: Gamecock Staff Takes ALS Challenge

The South Carolina Gamecocks were back at it once again Tuesday night at the Bluff Road “Proving Grounds”. The team has continued its preparations for the opening game in just eight short days against Texas A&M. Check out what happened at practice last night.

Athletics Director Ray Tanner, head coach Steve Spurrier, and the entire Gamecock football coaching staff took part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on Tuesday evening, following practice.

“I think it’s important that your coach cares about stuff bigger than football,” senior quarterback Dylan Thompson stated. “A lot of people being affected by this, it means a lot to them seeing it, seeing the support. For the whole staff and team to be involved, I thought it was cool.”
