MBB: Recruiting Update

With South Carolina landing its first class of 2015 commitment, the Gamecocks are off to a great start in recruiting. Head coach Frank Martin is working hard to improve the program. However, bringing top talent to Columbia doesn’t always mean looking outside of Columbia. Check out which prospects in the midlands are making moves.

Four star point guard Perry Dozier has offers from all over the country from schools like Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisville, and Georgetown. The Columbia, SC native is a senior at Spring Valley High School and had an in-home visit with Louisville's own Rick Pitino.

Ranked 13th overall as a small forward, Dreher High School’s Tevin Mack paid a visit to Frank Martin and his program on Tuesday. Mack has VCU and Clemson ahead for future visits and has no favorites at the moment.
