After an interesting end to last week, Crisp County (GA) quarterback Joe Joe Brown decided he needed to take his official visit to South Carolina and clear his head.
"I went up there on Friday, and had a good time up there. Meet with the players, and talking to Coach Holtz speaks for itself. It was good seeing what it's like up there, and the players made me feel comfortable."
Hosts on official visits normally help with learning the style of the surroundings, and Brown received a double dose.
"The first night it was Andy Boyd, and the second night it was Blake Mitchell. It didn't seem like he would be competition if I ended up there. He was just overall a nice guy that is fun to hang out."
With NC State and South Carolina now on the horizon, is Brown ready to make a decision soon?
"I'm going to give it some time to set in, and then I'm going to think about my options. I want to talk to my parents, my coach, and then make a decision. I don't have a timeframe, just whenever I feel it is right."
