Ron Cooper is recruiting talented cornerback prospect Jabari Marshall, and so far the Gamecocks like their chances.
"South Carolina (1-16) and Duke (1-9) are my leaders right now," said cornerback Jabari Marshall, an outstanding student in addition to being an outstanding mutlisport athlete.
"I'm also looking hard at Mississippi State (1-23). I have a visit scheduled with Illinois at the end of the month but I don't know if I'll take that visit."
Marshall, a 6-foot, 182-pounder from Atlanta (Mays) had 42 tackles and 9 interceptions in 2003 as a cornerback and fits the Ron Cooper requirements for a SEC defensive back - he is tall, fast and he hits like a jackhammer.
