Eric Huggins of Conway (SC) High School, who is believed to be the best wide out in the Palmetto State, is drawing interest from colleges from coast-to-coast.
"Clemson, Virginia, Iowa, LSU, Oklahoma, Miami, Florida, South Carolina, a whole bunch are interested," stated Huggins. "But I don't have any offers."
It's only a matter of time before those daily letters turn into official scholarship offers. However, Huggins plans to take his time with his recruiting and see what doors open.
"I'm going to wait awhile before I make any decision to see who offers me," remarked Huggins, "then I'm going to pick between the choices I got."
The coaching staff that wins the services of the 6-3 186-pounder will not only add a receiver with great hands to their rosters, but also one of the most physical and quick wide outs in the nation. Huggins inflicted punishment on numerous cornerbacks on his way to 51 catches for 932 yards plus 14 touchdowns.
Huggins lists Clemson, Oklahoma, LSU, Georgia, and Tennessee as his favorites at this time. He also plans to attend Clemson's Junior Day on March 7th.
