Marlboro County (SC) wide receiver Rendrick Taylor did not have many chances to catch the ball as a junior, but he more than made every opportunity count.
"Rendrick is a very physical receiver," says head coach Dean Boyd. "As an example, two of his biggest runs were against our best competition. We just ran passes behind the line of scrimmage on bubble screens, and he ran over and around people to score on long touchdowns."
At 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, Taylor has the chance to do everything a coach needs, and college coaches throughout the ACC and SEC are highly interested in him. The stats speak for themselves.
"Last year he had 800 yards and 11 touchdowns on just 26 catches. We did not have a great chance to get the ball to him, but he will get more this year."
He should also catch plenty of offers as well.
