Mullins (SC) offensive lineman Jamarcus Grant has the potential to do well in college based on his 6-foot-5, 310 pound frame. However his coach says it is his feet that really count.
"We don't throw the ball a whole lot, so he has been a run blocker for us," says Mullins head coach Stanford Cromer. "He has the athletic ability and feet to be a great offensive lineman in college."
Coach Cromer is being bombarded by recruiters already from throughout the nation.
"I've got messages in my answering machine right now from Tennessee and South Carolina, and he gets mail regularly from Notre Dame, LSU, and most of the ACC and SEC."
At the moment, Grant does not have any offers though he is expected to have several by the end of the summer.
