DT Cedrick Gordon
6-3, 290, 5.2
Brookland-Cayce High School
Cayce, South Carolina
The 6-3, 290 pound prospect is waiting on that first offer. "I don't have any offers at this time. South Carolina, North Carolina State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Clemson are showing interest."
When asked if he has any early favorites, Gordon responded, "Not yet. I don't have any favorites right now."
Gordon did make it to South Carolina earlier this spring to the Junior Day for the Gamecocks. "I made it to South Carolina's junior day. I went with my brother-in-law and my cousin. It went pretty good."
The prize recruit is working hard to prepare for his senior campaign. "I'm working out a lot. I'm lifting and doing a little bit of running." Gordon has his weight at 305 pounds as he prepares to lead Brookland-Cayce.
Brad Scott is recruiting the defensive tackle for the Tigers. "Coach Scott is sending me a lot of mail. Clemson is recruiting me the hardest right now I'd say."
Coach Rick Stockstill is recruiting Gordon for the hometown Gamecocks along with Jappy Oliver.
What will Gordon consider as he make his decision? "I want a good school where I can get a lot of playing time. I will look at the coaches and the players. I just want a place where I can play."
