South Carolinian Names His Leaders

With an impressive list of suitors that continues to grow, with a couple of offers already on the table and more expected anyday now, it may be the camps that help him to decide ...

Michael Washington Profile

Allendale-Fairfax (SC) safety Michael Washington is one of the more feared defenders in the Palmetto State. He had over 90 tackles, 12 pass deflections, and he forced three fumbles as a junior. Washington has two offers at this time.

"South Carolina and Clemson have offered me," said Washington. "NC State, Tennessee, Notre Dame, and Georgia are close to offering. Georgia and NC State might offer me at their camps."

Washington has already attended the Clemson one-day camp and plans to attend the South Carolina football camp this weekend in addition to the camps at Georgia, and NC State. He plans to have a decision reached after he attends the camps.

"Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia, and NC State are in my top four and they are all even. I really don't see myself going too far from home. I want my family to be able to see me play," Washington said.

Washington plans to use the camps to help him make a early decision.

"I'm hoping to have a decision by the start of my season, but if I don't feel comfortable then I may wait, but not too long."
