Martin Frierson Profile
Irmo (SC) wide receiver Martin Frierson is one of the best prospects you've never heard of in the Palmetto State. The 6-2, a 185-pound athlete averaged over 20 yards per catch as a junior and has picked up two offers according to Irmo Head Coach Bob Hannah.
"Martin has offers from Vanderbilt and Notre Dame," said Coach Hannah. "Wherever he goes to camp they offer him. He went to Miami's camp and they liked him a lot, but they haven't offered yet. He was clocked with a 4.47 forty-yard dash at a camp. He is just a great kid and a tremendous player."
Frierson has received interest from South Carolina, Clemson, Florida State, Wake Forest, Duke, Maryland, Tennessee, Georgia, and a host of other college recruiters. He has a 4.0 GPA and is looking at academics and the coaching staff as deciding factors in his decision.
