SC DB Prospect Checks In

One of South Carolina's top defensive back prospects updates his preferences, favorites and immediate plans ...

The two Palmetto powers were the first to offer the talented defender earlier this year. "I have offers from Clemson and South Carolina right now," said Robinson. "Florida State, Florida and Virginia Tech are also showing interest."

Robinson will not make his first camp appearance until July. "I haven't been to any camps yet this summer. The only one I will probably go to will be Florida State next month."

When asked if he has any current favorites, Robinson responded, "No not really. Everybody is still pretty much even. I do have a top five. My top five would be Florida State, Florida, Virginia Tech, Clemson and Michigan."

The 6-1, 175 pound prospect is looking forward to the opportunity to lead Northwestern during his senior campaign. "I'm lifting weights two times a week. In July I will start lifting four times a week. I have a passing league and we begin scrimmages in July."

What will the South Carolina star consider and he selects the college of his choice? "I want to find the best program in my major. I want to major in psychology. I will also look at the coaching staff."
