Courtland Fuller Profile
Columbus, Ga.--Kendrick High's Courtland Fuller is a prospect who has a strong love for the game of football and is very excited about his senior season.
"I feel great right now because it (football season) is coming up quick, but once it gets here I don't want it to end I just want to keep playing," the 6-0, 185-pound wide receiver notes.
"We have got a lot of players back and we are looking to surprise everybody," he adds about his Kendrick team. "Everybody thinks we are going to be bad, but I think we can make it to the playoffs this year and maybe make a run at the state title."
Recently the speedy prospect got a chance to play the game he loves and show off his skills at an Auburn football camp and the talented player says that things couldn't have gone better. "I felt like I did real well," Fuller notes. "I think all of the coaches liked me and now I am just waiting to see what happens next."
While Fuller was at the Auburn camp showing off his quick feet, strong route running skills and soft hands, he says he got a few lessons from the Auburn coaching staff. "I learned that you have got to have good technique," he tells Inside The Auburn Tigers. "Good technique is what makes a good football player and I think my technique and speed are my best weapons as a receiver."
The rising senior also notes that the camp really offered him a chance to take his game to a higher level. "They had great defensive backs out there and the helped me out and made me compete a lot harder."
Although Fuller is still waiting to receive his first offers, he says he has been receiving a lot of attention from some big-time SEC schools. "I have been getting letters from Auburn, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Florida, Georgia and just a whole lot of schools from around the country," he explains.
With all of those schools showing interest in Fuller, it probably won't be long until he receives some offers and the wide receiver prospect says he already knows where he hopes those offers come from. "Auburn, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Maryland and Georgia are still my top five."
