Stephan Virgil Profile
Rocky Mount (N.C.) defensive back Stephan Virgil did better than most prospects by attending three camps and earning two offers for his performances.
"I got an offer from North Carolina and Wake Forest," stated the 6-foot-1, 175-pounder. "I got a phone call from Wake Forest the day after the camp and they offered me. North Carolina offered me at their camp. Both of them said the same thing, that they liked me a lot, they liked my footwork, the way I can come up and hit and how aggressive I am playing safety and corner."
Although he doesn't plan to commit until signing day, Virgil owns a pretty solid favorites list consisting of nearby schools.
"Right now its North Carolina, Wake [Forest], South Carolina, [N.C.] State, and Virginia," stated Virgil. "I like each schools' coaching staff. I haven't been to South Carolina, but they seem very interested in me. I want to get a chance to go down there and visit."
Besides Wake Forest and North Carolina, Virgil camped at N.C. State a few weeks back. He plans to round up his camping schedule with trips to Georgia and Georgia Tech this upcoming weekend, and then UNC again on July 17th.
