Jeremy Chambliss Profile
Douglass High School in Atlanta, GA has yet another prospect receiving an offer. This is their sixth player in 2004 to receive a scholarship offer.
Jeremy Chambliss is a 6'1, 195 pound safety that runs a forty in the 4.55 range. He puts up 275 pounds on the bench and squats 365 pounds. Chambliss just completed his summer break where he attended three camps and one of those schools he camped at, turned around and gave Chambliss his first offer. Who was the first to offer Chambliss?
"Vanderbilt offered me about two weeks ago. I kind of thought they may offer, but I didn't know it would be this soon", says Chambliss.
What other schools are showing signs of offering?
"It is still early, but Oklahoma State, South Carolina, Central Florida and Clemson are recruiting me pretty hard. Those would be the schools showing me the most attention, but I get letters from a lot of schools in the south."
What camps did Chambliss to part in this summer other than Vanderbilt?
"I went to Alabama and Clemson also. I felt all of them went pretty well and I took little things away from each camp."
What does Chambliss see as strong and weak points in his game?
"My strength is definitely hard hitting. I love contact and to play physical. Things I want to improve on are my hands and my quickness.
Who are Chambliss' early favorites?
"I like South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Oklahoma State the most right now, but it is early and I am open to anyone that wants to recruit me."
Academically, Chambliss posts a 3.2 GPA and has scored a 900 SAT score and a 17 on the ACT.
