RB Sadat Chambers

Pageland Central High School
Pageland, South Carolina
Both Palmetto State schools continue to show the most interest in the 5-foot-11, 176 pound prospect at this point in the recruiting process. "Clemson is my only offer right now," Chambers told The Insiders in a recent interview. "South Carolina is showing a lot of interest as well."
When asked if he has any current favorites, Chambers responded, "I don't have any favorites right now."
Chambers and Central High have been working hard to prepare for the upcoming 2004 season. "I've been running and keeping in shape. I've also been lifting. I weigh about 176 right now," said Chambers.
Don't expect an early commitment from the Central star. "I will wait until after the season. I want to take some visits first."
A decision is months away for the South Carolina standout, but he already knows what he is looking for in a college. "I will look at academics and at the school itself, said Chambers. "I want to look at the staff and the atmosphere too. I want to major in business, so I guess you could say that's important."
Distance will not be an important factor in Chambers decision. "It doesn't make a difference," stated the talented running back.
Chambers believes Central will be ready to compete with the best this season. "We're looking good. We have been working hard together and I think we have our first scrimmage on Friday."
Chambers finished up an outstanding year last year for the Eagles by rushing 13 times for 202 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Class 2A State Championship game against Batesburg-Leesville.
Overall, Central finished the season at 14-1, including a crushing 40-20 win for the state title.
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding running back from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2005.
