This One Will Not Be Over Until It's Over

He is a big time powerfully bruising fullback and he is about to commit. Yet he intends to make all of his visits just to be sure. You'll want to read the editor's notes at the end of this update ...

Mark Paschal Profile

As Charlotte Latin FB/LB Mark Paschal's grueling senior season wears on him physically, the equally exhausting recruiting process wears on him mentally. Both aspects have played major roles in the 6-foot-2, 227-pounder's newest game plan.

"I plan to commit, but take all five of my official visits just to be sure of my decision," stated Pashcal. "I want to do it soon but I don't want it to be a distraction for me or my teammates."

The same suspects remain as Paschal's primary options with Paschal reminding quiet of which schools might have taken a lead for his initial verbal commitment.

"In no particular order I like UNC, UCLA, Georgia Tech, Clemson, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt," remarked Paschal. "And Georgia but they haven't offered me."

In Charlotte Latin's opener, Paschal supplied two rushing touchdowns in the 34-14 defeat of Monroe (N.C.) Parkwood.

Editor's Note: You are going to see any number of North Carolina's finest athletes commit early to UNC this season. However, it is the informed opinion of the Editor/Publisher of this web site that any commitments to North Carolina will have a good chance of becoming null and void should an expected coaching change take place in Chapel Hill at the end of this season. For that reason we are advising our members as of this moment to disregard any commitments of players to North Carolina who have been offered and are being sought after by the Gamecocks. South Carolina has made serious inroads into the state of North Carolina in recent years and it is scheduled to pay off this season if things play out as we believe they will. By the way, our sources tell us that Paschal favors UNC and UCLA at the moment. But we believe in the end he will want to stay closer to home and may very well sign with a school with a legend for a coach. Especially after this season.
