Brandon James Profile
Brandon James is an electric running back from St. Augustine High School that has several good options ahead of him already. He could be on the verge of more big offers with a big senior season.
"I have offers from Iowa, Penn State, Illinois, Indiana, South Carolina, Louisville, Temple, Wake Forest, and Vanderbilt," said James. "I only went to one camp this summer. Me and Jacques Rickerson went to Auburn for their camp in July. I got to talk with the running backs' coach, and I got to talk with Coach Borges. I ran a 4.41 at the camp and had a 38" vertical. Coach Borges said they really liked my speed and that they were going to start recruiting me. If I have a couple of big games right off the bat, I think Auburn will offer."
James has been in touch with several coaches this summer.
"I've only called Coach Ferenz at Iowa. Louisville and Illinois send me a lot of text messages. Also, Wake Forest has turned up the heat. I get a lot of emails from Coach Elrod. In no particular order I like Louisville, Wake Forest, South Carolina, Penn State, Iowa, and Illinois."
James is looking forward to another productive season.
"We have a jamboree game at Melbourne on the 19th; then we open against First Coast on the 26th. I'm looking forward to playing Clay this year. A lot of people think the district will come down to us and them."
