Columbia City Councilmen could not come to terms with the proposed Vista location for the new Gamecock baseball facility.
"They have profound concerns regarding traffic control in the area," said Dr. Andrew Sorenson late Wednesday.
The university has been unable to locate a location that suits the school's needs and the council's demands, so they are back in the market for the right piece of property that will meet the needs of everyone involved.
Two locations mentioned early in the new search is the area located directly across Blossom street from the Colonial Center. And the old fall-back, The Farmer's Market located across from Williams-Brice Stadium.
