Byron Isom Profile
Byron Isom is a big defensive lineman for Lovejoy High School that is holding steady with his leader, and he has set up two official visits.
"I still have about 24 offers," said Isom. "The first school to call me was Auburn. Coach Knox called me at 6:00 AM. Michigan State, Georgia, and Tennessee also called. They talked to me about their depth chart and how I fit in."
Isom is holding with his leader, and he has set a visit with two teams.
"I have a visit scheduled for South Carolina for the second week of January. I've also set up a visit for Auburn some time in January too. South Carolina is still my leader followed by Auburn, Florida, Ohio State, and NC State."
Isom went to check out the home state Bulldogs last week, and he knows of several other schools he's planning to visit unofficially.
"I went to Georgia/Boise State last week. I had a really great time. The fans were loud and energized. I got the opportunity to talk with Coach Garner before the game."
Isom's Lovejoy team played on Saturday, keeping him from making any other trips this weekend, but he knows he has two picked out to choose from.
"I don't know where I'll be going this coming weekend. It will be either Florida/Tennessee, or South Carolina/Alabama."
