Question: I know there's a lot of enthusiasm about you being back on the team. How excited are you about getting back out there?

Answer: Yeah, I'm just happy to be here. I'm happy that Coach (Spurrier) has given me the opportunity to come back, and I'll be with this great team and have part of this great legacy. The second time around is the best time. I'm just happy to be here.

Question: You have proven in the past to be a versatile player, whether you line up in the backfield or at receiver. How are you going to be used this year?

Answer: I really don't know at this point right now. Coach (Spurrier) has a lot of things going on with the game plan, and right now I really don't know. Hopefully I can get out there, and whatever spot he can put me at, I'd love to be out there and play. Hopefully we can get this offense rolling.

Question: Are you most comfortable in the backfield?

Answer: It really doesn't matter. As long as I can help my team and help my offense get to the top, it really doesn't matter to me.

Question: If the offensive line can be productive, this team appears to be loaded at the skill positions. Do you see this team scoring a lot of points?

Answer: We've always had the talent here, we just needed the right path and the right coaching, and we feel as though we have that. The coaches have put together a great game plan for us, and hopefully we can execute it if everybody goes out there and plays their part. We could be a very good offense if we get together early and show the nation that we do have the athletes to do it.

Question: Looking back to last year, you said that you would take that year to get bigger, stronger, and faster for when you come back. Now, here it is. Is this is a new bigger, stronger, and faster Cory Boyd that is ready to be unleashed this season?

Answer: You can say that. I really haven't gained too much weight, but I feel as though I have gotten faster, stronger, and have added a couple new dimensions to my game. With the help of our strength and conditioning coaches and with the determination that I have, I'm just trying to make myself better. It's always about getting up everyday and making yourself better than you were the day before. Hopefully when Thursday comes I can show the world that I have done that and everything is good with me.

Question: Team chemistry is always an important factor. Do you believe that this team has good chemistry?

Answer: From years past, I believe that this is one of the best teams that I have been dealing with. They listen, and there's not too many egos that go on or too much second guessing the coaches. We understand exactly what we've got to do and a lot of people can take a lot of leadership roles with this team. Hopefully we can go out there and it will feel much better when we win these games. It's really good to be out here.

Question: After having to sit out last season, how great is it going to be for you when that ball is kicked off and you are there in uniform and getting ready to play?

Answer: It's going to feel great. I don't know how to explain it, it's just going to be real exciting and real good, because I missed it last year. I've dreamt about it day in and day out. I'm just starting to get sleep. I've got to get my rest about it, and hopefully everything will go good. Hopefully everything will go as I've planned in my head before, and I'm just looking forward to it.
