Allen Looking Forward To USC Visit
"South Carolina is still my leader"
The 6'2, 190 pound Allen is planning on making an official visit to South Carolina with teammate Dion Lecorn in the next couple of weeks.
"We've got official visits scheduled for September 23."
Allen, who stated that he would like to play his college ball with Lecorn, said he is looking forward to having a good time on his South Carolina visit.
"Just going up there, having fun, and meeting some of the players and coaches. I'm looking forward to watching the game and just having a good time."
The Sunshine State prospect also listed a few other schools that he would like to visit this season.
"I want to visit UCF, South Florida, Florida, and Louisville."
While Allen has publicly favored the Gamecocks for a while now, fans should not expect a commitment anytime soon.
"I think I'll wait until the end of my season."
Allen took the time to share how his senior season is going thus far.
"It's going alright. We're 2-0. I've done alright, except for my last game I dropped a few interceptions I should have had."
The talented safety prospect named one area of his game that he has improved in the most since last season.
"My coverage over the top. I still can fill the alleys, but I had trouble covering over the top last year. Now I'm there."
Allen, who totaled 114 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 5 pass break ups a year ago, finished by stating some high expectations that he has set for both himself and his team this season.
"I think we can go to state this year. I'm trying to get more picks (interceptions) and get a favorable amount of tackles. My goal is to get at least ten picks."
