Dion Lecorn claims offers from South Carolina, Tennessee, LSU, and Ole Miss among others, but one lucky school still sits atop his list of favorites.

"The recruiting process is going alright so far. I'm still looking at South Carolina, LSU, and probably Florida if they offer me. Those are my top choices, but South Carolina is still on top."

The 6'0, 205 pound Lecorn described what stands out about the Gamecocks to him.

"When I went up there to visit, I felt at home there. I felt right at home like I fit in good with everybody. I got to meet the players, and I like Coach Spurrier's offense that he's running. It's real good, and since I'm playing receiver, you can't really get better than Spurrier's offense."

Lecorn also commented on the Bayou Bengals, who are still alive in the race for his services.

"LSU has a good athletic program, and they're just a nice program that passes the ball too."

Lecorn, who runs a blazing 4.4 second forty yard dash, is not currently in a hurry to make a commitment, but he stated that a decision could come shortly after he has the opportunity to take a couple more visits.

"I don't have a timeframe. I want to take a few more visits. I want to take one to LSU and Ole Miss, and then I'll probably choose after that."

The premier Sunshine State prospect gave a couple of factors that will ultimately play into his final decision.

"Probably how early I'll get playing time, where it's located at, and that's about it."

Lecorn also talked about a couple of friendships that he has developed through the recruiting process that may play into his college choice.

"I talk with Stephen Garcia. Me and him have talked a little bit about going to South Carolina together, and my teammate Antonio Allen. We're both looking at South Carolina."

Lastly, Lecorn, who totaled 59 catches for 1,151 yards and 11 touchdowns last season, shared how his senior season is going thus far.

"It's going good so far. We're undefeated right now, and I've got 750 yards receiving with 12 or 13 touchdowns."
