Gamecocks vs. Gators: Round Two
Culliver, who measures in at a solid 6'1 and 190 pounds, is one of the most electrifying prospects in America this year. The versatile playmaker is a standout safety on the defensive side of the ball, but South Carolina and Florida are recruiting him for his exceptional speed and uncanny elusiveness at the wide receiver position. Culliver, who runs a 4.38 second forty yard dash, is also a lethal threat as a return specialist.
The premier Tar Heel State prospect claims offers from major programs like Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Virginia Tech, and NC State, but he has narrowed his choices down to division rivals USC and Florida.
Culliver will announce his decision at a 12:00 p.m. news conference in the Garner High School library.
Stay tuned to GamecockAnthem.com for up-to-the-second coverage of Culliver's announcement, as well as a full report on his commitment and a photo gallery of the announcement festivities.
