Travis Jones Thanks Gamecock Nation
GamecockAnthem.com received the following e-mail from Travis Jones earlier today, and he requested that we pass on his gratitude to the rest of the Gamecock Nation:
Dear Gamecock Nation,
I want to give thanks to the city, university, fans, players, coaches, and media for all your love and support. If it wasn't for USC believing in me, I would not have gotten the recognition and opportunity needed to succeed in my dreams.
Although I represent the Altanta Braves now, Gamecock baseball will always have a special place in my heart. I will never forget my first hit, my first homer, my first standing ovation and my first pat on the back. All of these events were significant to my development as an athlete, and I will cherish them dearly.
There are not enough words to say, but thanks to all, because USC has truly made my childhood dream a reality.
Sincerely and Respectfully yours,
Travis Jones, Gamecock 4 life!!!!!!!
