Legree pulls the trigger
The 6'0", 170 pound Legree, who possesses a good combination of size and athleticism at cornerback, picked up an offer from South Carolina after an impressive showing at the Gamecocks' prospect camp back in June.
After openly favoring USC for a couple months, Legree decided to pull the trigger and commit to the home state Gamecocks on Thursday evening.
He chose South Carolina over an offer from Vanderbilt, and he was receiving strong interest from Clemson, North Carolina, N.C. State, Wake Forest, Maryland, and others.
Legree, who runs a 4.5 second forty yard dash, totaled 65 tackles, 6 interceptions, and 10 pass break-ups in his junior season last fall. He boasts a 3.5 GPA.
Stay tuned to GamecockAnthem.com as we hope to catch up with Legree for an interview as soon as possible.
