Eldorado, Kansas junior college phenom linebacker Marcus Lawrence cancelled his visit to USC this past weekend. And that led some to speculate that he might have been wavering on his commitment to Lou Holtz's Gamecocks. But Lawrence actually only postponed his visit so that he could take care of final academic requirements at Butler County Junior College before preparing to make his move to Columbia.
The 6-3 240 pound 4-star linebacker rescheduled his visit with the Gamecocks for this coming weekend, the 20th and 21st, and has announced his decision to sign his Letter of Intent to play for SC this Wednesday the 18th of December. Lawrence plans to enroll at USC in January and thus become eligible to participate in spring drills.
