... that Greenville High School's Noah Whiteside has committed to play football for The University of South Carolina.
The Insiders' Jamie Newberg spoke with Noah Whiteside only minutes ago.
"They have recruited me the hardest and they were the first to actually start recruiting me," said Whiteside. "They showed me a lot of loyalty. They wanted me bad and they need me and guys like me. I like the staff, the scheme, and I think I can play pretty early there. It was not that hard of a decision. It basically came down to South Carolina and Clemson."
This is a huge commitment for the Gamecocks and one that might very well get the ball rolling on other high profile instate prospects such as Eric Young, Demetris Summers, Syvelle Newton and Ryan Brown.
