Offensive Lineman Now Very Interested In USC

He is an athletic offensive line prospect that has been committed to ECU for several months. But the coaching change in Greenville may have opened it up for a few opportunistic programs that are paying attention. Just recently the "The Godfather of College Football" became a player for him by extending him an offer ...

"I've gotten some more offers," said William Brown. "Elon and The Citadel offered me, and just recently South Carolina offered me a scholarship. I went to Elon for an official visit on January 3rd, and I'm going to The Citadel this weekend. I set up a visit with South Carolina for 1-24. I'm real anxious to see what South Carolina is going to be like. I mean Lou Holtz is like the Godfather of football. I want to see what they're like in terms of education and how I interact with the current players and coaches. That's what I've been looking at on all of my visits."

Would Brown still consider himself an ECU commitment?

"I'm still committed to ECU, but I'm just exploring all of my options. I was at ECU for a visit this weekend, and I told the coaches that I was still committed to them, but I wanted to take some more visits."

Brown should know for sure what his intentions are when he gets back from South Carolina. Until then, stay tuned.......
