Previewing the Chick-Fil-A Classic
The event will feature three Gamecock commits -- Damontre Harris (2010), Eric Smith (2010) and Anthony Gill (2011).
According to Evan Daniels of Scout.com, some of the event's other top players include Jermaine Sanders, Jaylen Beckham, James McAdoo, Marquis Rankin, Akil Mitchiell, Shane Southwell, Marshall Plumlee and Marcus Thornton.
Gill (Charlotte Christian) and Harris (Trinity Christian) are two big men that will tangle in their first games on Saturday. Smith, a point guard originally from Mullins High School, plays for Christ School, which will take on the number two 2011 prospect and North Carolina Commit, MaAdoo and his Norfolk Christian team. They will tip two games after the big men do battle.
Also, look for Vance High with guards Rankin (2011) and Braxton Ogbueze (2012). Both have visited the campus already a couple of times and are high on the South Carolina board of prospects.
