Hamilton Pulls the Trigger, He's a Bull!

Olympia High's Corian Hamilton, a 6-foot-1.5, 217 pound stand-out defender from Orlando, Fl, ended his recruitment when he committed to USF on Monday.

"I committed to USF today, and I'm very excited about it," said Hamilton, who visited USF this weekend. "I like USF, love the coaches, and I like how they play defense. They're close to home, and my parents and friends can come see me play.""

The 3-star safety ranked as the No. 68 safety in the country by Scout.com finished the season with over 100 tackles and five interceptions. Schools took notice as he claimed over two dozen offers including Michigan, Ole Miss, West Virginia, South Florida, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Connecticut, Cincinnati, Rutgers, Syracuse, Louisville, Michigan State, Western Kentucky and several others, before committing to USF.

Hamilton said he was down to USF, West Virginia, Purdue, and UCONN also in the picture. Hamilton already took official visits to Purdue, and West Virginia , and this past weekend took an unofficial visit to Tampa this past weekend. On Monday he received an in-home visit from several USF coaches including defensive coordinator Mark Snyder, and pulled the trigger.

"I told them I was ready to be a Bull," said Hamilton. "They were very excited, gave me hug, and said I just gave them an early Christmas present."

Hamilton says he carries a 2.8 core GPA and a 19 ACT with a 980 SAT, and is already qualified. He will take his official visit to USF in January, and is done with his recruitment.

"I'm done with recruiting," said Hamilton. "I'm 100 percent a Bull!"
