The big weekend keeps getting better for Coach Holtz and staff, as South Broward defensive end Clavion Nelson from Hollywood, FL committed to the Bulls after a weekend visit
"Yes I committed to USF," said Nelson. ""I just loved the visit, my parents came up with me and really liked it, and I felt the bond with the players and the coaches."
"They're all like one big family over there," said Nelson. "They're all act like one, and not just for football, they are really together. All the players, the coaches, everybody, and when I was there, you could really see it, and feel it. I love everything about USF"
During his visit, Nelson came with his parents and was hosted by USF redshirt freshman Hans Louis, and that helped with his choice.
"I talked with Hans, him before I came over, and we already had a bond since we're from the same area, " said Nelson. "He's real cool, and all the players are great, they made my choice easy to make."
During his senior season, Nelson had 64 tackles and 14.5 sacks on the season, also had 2 forced fumbles and 6 fumbles recovered, a safety, and a blocked punt, and the 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive end is relieved to finally make his college choice
"I feel like a lot is off my chest, and I don't have to worry about anything now" said Nelson. "I feel great to be a Bull!"
