Team Tama is full of promising athletes and one of them is Berkeley Prep's Nelson Agholor, a versatile 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete that can make plays as a wide receiver, running back or on defense at safety or cornerback.
"The majority of schools are talking about me playing receiver and that may be where I'll end up," said Agholor. "Until that day comes I'll keep on doing what I have to do to win. I'll play anywhere. I take the majority of hand-offs in the backfield and I may not look like a dominant running back I'm holding up some nice running backs stats and I like it a lot."
Agholor is also a standout basketball player, but with his hoops season now over Agholor is focused on football again.
"My offseason will kick off tomorrow," said Agholor. "After we lost I was told to take a week long break. I'm going to attack it real hard now. I'm going to eat right, rest right, lift right and mentally get right."
"Things are going well. I have multiple offers and feel blessed to have those," said Nelson. "I have no leader and every school I have an offer from is equal right now and if an offer came in today it would be right next to the others and have the same opportunity to be evaluated with every other school."
"I'm just evaluating coaches and getting to know good people," said Agholor. "If I find a school where everybody around them seems all positive, that's probably where I'm going to end up. Because wherever I go I'm going to play football and get an education. If I'm going to do that I want to do that with the advantage of having good people around me."
