Georgia ATH adds Offers, USF Still No. 1

Athlete Rico McWilliams, a two-way prospect at Lovejoy HS in Hampton, GA has seen his recruitment start to take off as he received his third BCS offer on Tuesday from an SEC team. Read on for all the details.

Lovejoy's athlete Rico McWilliams is a 6-foot, 170 pound prospect that played both ways for the Wildcats in Hampton, GA, and has seen his recruitment pick up recently as he received his third offer today.

"I just got offered from South Carolina," said McWilliams. "Coach Ward just came by my school today and told me about the offer."

The 6-foot, 170 pound prospect received post season honors at both cornerback and wide receiver for the 2010 season after catching 6 touchdowns on offense while recording 2 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, 35 tackles and also stripped the ball from a receiver and took it for a defensive score, but is being recruited mainly on the defensive side of the ball.

"He said they're recruiting me at cornerback," said McWilliams. "I feel good about the receiving the offer, it's a good SEC offer."

Schools have been showing plenty of interest in the Georgia prospect as he's and now has three BCS offers from USF, South Carolina and Cincinnati. With three big offers in hand, the school that extended his first offer is still in the lead for the elite athlete.

"It feels real good to get all theses offers," said McWilliams. "USF is still my number one. I just love everything about them. It's a great campus with great coaches."

McWilliams has been busy taking visits and has several more on tap.

"I went to Vanderbilt last weekend, that was nice," said Rico. "I'm going to go visit Kentucky and Cincinnati next."
