North Marion's Sean Price, a scout.com 300 tight end is one of the top playmakers in the state, is focused on becoming a better player, leading his team to a state championship; all while going through the recruiting process.

"Everything is going great, I've just been working out, running track and getting ready for spring ball," said Price. "I'm real excited for it; we got a good team and want to go all the way this year."

Price played at 205 as a junior and has been hitting the weights and putting on size

"I've been training hard and I'm up to 230 pounds now," said Price. "It's all muscle, there's not an ounce of fat on me. I'm not slow now either, I can run in the 4.5-4.6 range."

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound athlete has an offer list that is as impressive as anyone and he currently holds around 30 scholarship offers from some of the top programs in the country including Florida, Alabama, LSU, Notre Dame, Michigan, Arkansas, South Carolina, Miami, FSU and USF among others.

With an impressive list of offers Price has previously said he favored USF, Florida and Miami, then added Alabama after his visit, but when asked who his top three was currently, he said his leader board has changed.

"I have USF, Miami and I don't really know who the other would be, maybe Arkansas." said Price who inferred that his top three is uncertain at this time. "Florida has slipped out of my top three." Price added "Alabama would be in my top 5."

The coveted tight end said that he currently has a top two of programs at this time.

"USF and Miami would be my top two. I like those two the most," said Price who talks about his two leaders.

"With USF, I'm cool with the coaches, and they tell me I'm number one on their chart for the position I play," said Price. "As far as the campus goes, from what I've seen so far, it's very nice. They have a great environment, they're like a family and are big on academics and I know I'll get a good education. I can play as early as possible as a freshmen and that's something to look forward to. It's kind of close to home and I just feel really comfortable with them."

"Miami is the same as USF, the coaches are cool, and I'm high on their charts, they told me I can play as a freshman if I work for it," said Price. "They have a nice campus, a good education, and a good environment."

Of his top two schools, Price said that one does have an edge over the other.

"As far as everything I think USF has more of an edge," said Price. "I've got a good relationship, they're a little closer and I think I can play there faster than at Miami."

The North Marion stand-out says the relationship he has with the staff is another thing he likes about USF.

"I like Coach McGeoghan a lot, he's a real cool guy," said Price. "I've only talked to the tight end coach Scott a little, but me and coach McGeoghan talk a lot and have a good relationship together,"

Price has never taken a full visit to USF, but has been on the campus several times and seen them play on T.V.

"I watched them play a few time last year," said Price. "I like the way they play. They were still learning the new system, but played pretty good."

"I haven't got a chance to really visit USF yet, but I've seen the campus and stuff when we've competed in 7on7's there, and it was nice," said Price. "I'm going to get over there as soon as possible."

Price said he plans on making an upcoming visit to USF and also plans on doing a few camps and 7on7's coming up this summer.

"I'm going to try to go to USF and check out their campus and facilities over the next two weeks," said Price. "After that I'm not sure, but we're supposed to go to an Under Armor camp in June. "I'm pretty sure I'm going to the Sling & Shoot with my high school team also."
