The Bulls had a light practice in shorts only leading up to the first scrimmage of training camp.
Practice was definitely a hot one, the hottest one since being in Vero. I think they said it was 98 degrees and that was late in the afternoon. I'm sure the players were happy to be wearing just shirts and shorts today. I can't imagine what it'll be like tomorrow. .If you're planning on going, bring plenty of sunscreen, a hat, umbrella or whatever you need for protection, and plenty of fluids, because I think for the 1:10 scrimmage it'll be pretty hot.
The first thing I noticed was that many of the players decided to switched jersey's for the day, and it wasn't to make it hard for the media. They were just having a little fun after 9 straight days of practice. I saw Darrell Scot wearing Chris Dunkley's 82, and Dunk wearing No. 3, so if you see some shots, you know that Dunk didn't just get huge over night. Demetris Murray was wearing No. 25; Andreas Shields was wearing No. 13, with Bobby Eveld wearing No. 88, Landi and Matt Floyd switched numbers, and a bunch of other switched as well and then some switched back during practice so it was a bit confuse for some, but luckily I know every player by face and their body type so I could tell who was who.
QB B.J. Daniels practiced today and looked to be doing more than yesterday, he was even doing some light jogging, not sure how much he'll do tomorrow for the scrimmage.
