The Bulls had their final scrimmage before the season opener. Some of the highlights were QB B.J. Daniels throwing two scoring passes, one to Sterling Griffin and the other to Lindsey Lamar, and Freshman Andre Davis having a big catch on a long pass.

The defense had a good scrimmage and produced at least four takeaways. With several interceptions, two of them off of tipped balls, and they also forced several fumbles. Frosh D-lineman Elkino Watson also made a good play on a screen pass by Bobby Eveld, tipping it to himself, intercepting it and returning t for a TD.
