During the first drive when Notre Dame was deep in USF territory two players contributed to a potential 14-point swing in the first half when Jerrel Young by stripped the ball from an Irish runner at the USF 4-yard line — a fumble that was recovered by the Bulls Kayvon Webster and returned for a 96-yard touchdown.
